I had barely finished editing and uploading the Boxerstock pics (in between other projects) when it was time for Dogma Dog Care’s Howl-O-Ween Pawty the following Saturday (Oct. 29). There were some GREAT costumes and I received plenty of Howl-O-Ween doggie kisses while photographing the canine Trick-or-Treaters. Images are online HERE.

Now to get ready for the next major holiday…..hummmmmm….better start my prop list.

General event pictures are FINALLY available for viewing HERE. You can change the number of images displayed by clicking “Display Options” and selecting anywhere from 10 to 100 images per page. If you move the pointer to an image (mouse over), a small window will open with the image displayed 3 or 4 time larger than the index image. If you click on an image, it will be displayed even larger in a separate window. You may also view the images as a slide show.

The images in this gallery are low resolution for viewing only and are not suitable for printing. If you would like to order prints, send an email to neely@aneelyphoto.com with the DSC number (4 digits) of the images you would like and I will upload the printable versions to the Puppy Pool Party – High Res gallery. I’ve added one image to this gallery so that you may see the prices for various print sizes and finishes as well as other products such as mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads etc. To view the price list, click on the image then click “Buy Image” – you can cancel after viewing the price list. You may also purchase a Personal Use License for a digital copy by clicking “Downloads”. Be sure to read the “Terms of Use”.

All of the net proceeds (after all costs are deducted) from the sales of prints and other products from the Puppy Pool Party – High Res gallery will go to the Homeless Pet Foundation. Shipping and GA Sales Tax will be added to all orders except personal use downloads.

May 15, Dogma held “The 1st Annual Community Pet Festival” called “For The Love Of Dogs” benefiting Ahimsa House, Inc., Green Pets America and The Victoria Stilwell Foundation. Many of you may have seen Victoria on Animal Planet’s “It’s Me or the Dog“. Please visit their sites (just click on the links) to learn about the work of these three organizations.

I photographed the event and did dog portraits with the very capable assistance of my friend Amber. You may view the portraits by clicking here. A window will open with two tabs – Prints where you may order prints in a variety of sizes and finishes, and Products where you may order specialty items ranging from refrigerator magnets to t-shirts to coffee mugs. The 3rd Artist Trifecta Photo Scavenger Hunt took place Dec 4th and 5th – a 24 hour affair that started at noon on Saturday and ended at noon on Sunday. There were 13 clues one of which was shoes. This hunt, like the others, was a lot of fun in spite of minimal sleep and the cold and the wind waiting for sunrise (that didn’t come thanks to the clouds) on Sunday.

This shot was one of the candidates for “shoes” that I did not submit.

What's Behind The Green Door...

Read the clue, find the item, take the picture.  On December 4, Artist Trifecta (Atlanta) will hold another Photo Scavenger Hunt.  I had a lot of fun on the ones in June and September and this one promises to be even better.  The last two were 12 hour races….this one is 24.  Click here to read more about it.

A summer storm was approaching as I drove up US 30 through Bear Lake Valley.  The first shot was taken a few miles north of Montpelier, ID.  Rainbow Train was taken just west of Jerome, ID.  The lightening strike occurred  approximately 50 miles south east of Boise.  I just happened to have my camera pointed at the clouds and my finger on the shutter button when the strike occurred.
